Abbey Hotel - 4 Star

The setting for the ivy clad 4 star Abbey Hotel in Great Malvern is ideal, at the foot of the Malvern Hills, adjoining the fine Benedictine Priory in the heart of the town. This hotel scores highly with our guests who are assured of a warm welcome and a relaxing atmosphere together with the highest levels of comfort. All the comfortable bedrooms are furnished to a high standard, all are en-suite and have tea and coffee making facilities. This hotel does have a lift.



Your Itinerary:



Day 1

Monday From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach then on through the heart of England via pretty Banbury and the scenic Vale of Evesham, to make a stop. We arrive late afternoon at the Abbey Hotel where we enjoy tea and biscuits. There will be time to settle in before dinner.


Day 2

Tuesday Our day begins with a drive to the Hop Pocket Craft Centre and shopping village for our morning break before we visit Weston Cider Mill. Here we enjoy a tour of the vineyard and garden, wine tasting and a light lunch. This afternoon we have free time in Hereford, with its magnificent Cathedral, before returning later to the hotel.


Day 3

Wednesday Today we begin with a ride around some of the villages in Herefordshire’s beautiful ‘Black and White’ villages trail. Our route takes in delightful cottages, inns, shops in timber framed hamlets including Dilwyn, Weobley, Eardisley, Pembridge and Eardisland. We have free time in Leominster before returning to Malvern.


Day 4

Thursday This morning we head for the City of Worcester where we have time to explore the city, with its imposing Cathedral well worth a visit. There are lots of opportunities to obtain lunch before we have a boat trip on the River Severn to round off the day. We return to Malvern for our final night’s dinner.


Day 5

Friday Homeward bound this morning arriving late afternoon in our home areas to be greeted by our awaiting taxis.
