A long established favourite destination with our clients, Bournemouth is renowned as one of the more stylish resorts. It boasts spectacular coastal views including the secret Chines which were used by smugglers to conceal their booty in days gone by. The clean, fresh and sophisticated atmosphere really is something else.
The 4 star Carlton overlooks Bournemouth beach, offering lovely views at all times of the year and is within walking distance to Bournemouth town centre. The hotel boasts a restaurant, a cocktail bar, a lounge with sea views and an indoor swimming pool. All of the en-suite bedrooms are well equipped including tea/coffee making facilities. A lift serves all floors.
Monday From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach for the drive south to Bournemouth. We arrive at the Carlton hotel late afternoon with time to settle in before dinner.
Tuesday After breakfast we make our way to the historic city of Salisbury. With its timbered buildings, an early English Gothic cathedral home to the famous Magna Carta, there’s a lot to be explored. Why not visit the award winning Salisbury Museum and Mompesson House. After plenty of free time here, we make our way back to the hotel with time to relax before dinner.
Wednesday A day at leisure for us to get to know our seaside resort of Bournemouth. Take a stroll along the shore and enjoy lunch at a seafront pub or explore the delightful gardens and watch the world go by. A truly lovely seaside town.
Thursday Today we travel into Hardy country with a stop in the delightful town of Dorchester, county town of Dorset and home to Thomas Hardy. After time to look around we continue to the seaside resort of Weymouth with its vibrant harbour for time at leisure before we return to the hotel for our final evening’s dinner.
Friday We bid farewell to our hosts and make our way home after a delightful seaside break.
