A long established favourite destination with our clients, Bournemouth is renowned as one of the more stylish resorts. It boasts spectacular coastal views including the secret Chines which were used by smugglers to conceal their booty in days gone by. The clean, fresh and sophisticated atmosphere really is something else.

Your Accommodation:

Cumberland Hotel - 4 Star

The 4 star Cumberland situated on the prestigious East Cliff of Bournemouth justly deserves its award as the top 4 star hotel in Bournemouth. Each of the stylish en-suite rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. Public rooms include an elegant restaurant and stylish lounge bar and lifts serve all floors. Guests are welcome to use the indoor leisure facilities of the sister hotel situated next door.

Your Itinerary:

Day 1

From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach, we travel to Bournemouth, arriving late afternoon at the Cumberland Hotel where we enjoy tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival.

Day 2

Today is a free day to relax and enjoy the delights of Bournemouth. As this is England’s most popular tourist resort, you can enjoy 7 miles of beaches, Victorian architecture and the Bournemouth Pier. Perhaps visit the 2-mile long Bournemouth Gardens or enjoy lunch on the seafront and bask in the Spring weather.

Day 3

Dorchester, the county town of Dorset, is our destination this morning. The town is the fictional ‘Casterbridge’ of Hardy’s novels and there is plenty of time here to wander and explore in your own time. Later, we head off to Weymouth along the coast road. Weymouth is a resort with lots of character, and plenty to do. Take a stroll along the Esplanade or explore the interesting harbour area – you could also enjoy lunch or refreshments by the seafront.

Day 4

This morning we drive along the coast to the Hengistbury Head Visitor Centre which overlooks Christchurch harbour and offers amazing scenery, and somewhere to stretch the legs or maybe enjoy some refreshments. After our brief stop here, we take a drive to Lymington, a pretty Georgian market town in the south of the New Forest. Here we have a chance to enjoy lunch and spend some time wandering and relax. In the afternoon, we travel further through the stunning New Forest where we arrive at the town of Lyndhurst, known as the capital of The New Forest since the times of William the Conqueror. Lyndhurst offers a wide range of shops, cosy tea rooms, old world pubs and cafes.

Day 5

Departing our hotel we make our way back to our home areas to be greeted by our awaiting taxis.
