Blunsdon House Hotel - 4 Star

The 4 star Blunsdon House Hotel is a Fenn favourite, set in 30 acres of beautiful Wiltshire countryside. This hotel has in indoor swimming pool and gym, two superb restaurants and three comfortable bars. All of the bedrooms are en-suite and have tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel is served by a lift.



Your Itinerary:



Day 1

From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach for the drive south west to the Cotswolds. We travel by way of Moreton in Marsh and Winchcombe to spend time for lunch and sightseeing in the glorious floral and spa town of Cheltenham. We arrive at Blunsdon House Hotel late afternoon. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served on arrival.


Day 2

This morning we head off for a coffee stop at Millets Farm Centre before continuing to the delightful Oxfordshire town of Witney. Here we have time for lunch before our afternoon visit to the interesting Cotswold Wildlife Park. Set in over 160 acres of beautiful parklands the Park has an amazingly diverse collection of species many of which are endangered in the wild.


Day 3

Our excursion today takes us to the Wiltshire town of Devizes. Here we have time for lunch and to explore before we leave and make our way to Laycock village and Bowood House, set in stunning “Capability” Brown parkland and home to the Lansdowne family since 1754 The house has interiors by Robert Adam.


Day 4

This morning we begin with a visit to Adam’s Farm – the Cotswolds Farm Park as featured on BBC TV’s Countryfile. Adam Henson’s farm is the home of Rare Breeds Conservation and is devoted to the protection of endangered species. There is much to see before we continue to beautiful Bourton-on-the-Water, a delightful village with the River Windrush flowing quietly through. We have time for lunch here before our afternoon visit to the Birdland Park and Gardens. Discover the weird and wonderful species of birds from all over the world and take a scenic walk around the 50 themed habitats. We’ll be there in time for the Penguin and Pelican feeds!


Day 5

A leisurely breakfast before we depart the hotel for the journey home. We return to our home area mid afternoon.
