Our hugely successful Ring of Kerry tour returns for 2024! Based in the heart of south west Ireland in the town of Killarney, it is certainly one of our firm favourites! Here, amidst the mountains and peninsulas, one will find simply breath-taking scenery and, arguably, some of the world’s friendliest folk!

Your Itinerary:
Our door to door service takes you from your home to the waiting Club Class coach for the journey to South Wales during which a light breakfast is served. At Pembroke we board the afternoon sailing to Rosslare, relax and enjoy the crossing. We reach our overnight hotel, the Maldron Hotel, in Wexford well in time for dinner.
After breakfast we take the road to Waterford then follow the River Suir to Clonmel now a truly scenic drive over the Knockmealdown Mountains and along the glorious Vee, for spectacular views, to spend time in the busy market town of Fermoy. This afternoon a lovely riverside drive takes us to Mallow before arriving in Killarney mid afternoon. We have plenty of time to settle in to our holiday hotel, the Gleneagle, where on arrival we enjoy a cup of tea.
Full day excursion around the ‘Ring of Kerry’ with its rugged Atlantic coastline and majestic mountains. This must surely be one of Europe’s finest scenic areas. We will visit Killorgin, Cahirseevin and Waterville making a lunch stop at a traditional pub, with breathtaking views, before returning over Molls Gap to Killarney.
We include a morning visit to magnificent Muckross House and Park for a guided tour. The rest of the day at leisure, a chance to ride in a ‘jaunting car’ ride and take a cruise on the lake plus time to explore Killarney itself.
Another day of wonderful scenery. Our first visit is to the charming town of Tralee, for a short visit, before continuing around the beautiful Dingle Peninsular. The roads are lined by Fuschia hedges and the Atlantic views as we round rugged Slea Head are unforgettable. We include time in Dingle before the return to Killarney.
A leisurely breakfast before our drive along the south coast. From Killarney we head for Blarney Castle and the world famous ‘Blarney Stone’, time for the energetic to ‘Kiss the Stone’ while others enjoy a coffee. Now on through Cork and past Cobh Harbour to picturesque Youghal, a busy port and resort on the River Blackwater, the ideal place to make time for lunch. This afternoon we continue on to our overnight hotel, the Treacy’s in Waterford.
After an early start we set out for the morning ferry taking us back to Pembroke. We return to our home area via South Wales and the midlands arriving home early evening.
