We take you to Sligo in County Sligo, boasting a stunning, uninterrupted and wild coast and often known as Yeats Country owing to how much it inspired his poetry; Sligo is a slice of heaven along Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way. Sitting astride the Garavogue River as it pours into the Atlantic, Sligo Town has a character of its own and is a lively base from where to explore this beautifully dramatic part of Ireland. We feature a walking tour of stunning Rosses Point, a scenic Wild Atlantic Way drive and a River Shannon Cruise along with some traditional visits including an authentic distillery and a working sheep farm.
