Each of the en-suite bedrooms are individually decorated and have a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Dating from 1732, the house has fine collections of furniture, paintings and silver as well as its stunning gardens with a moat and orangery. After time here we take a short drive to Arley Hall, known as one of the most interesting and attractive stately homes in the North West coupled with some of the finest gardens in Europe. The gardens were created over 250 years ago by successive generations resulting in them being rich in atmosphere. This makes them known as one of Cheshire’s ‘Gardens of Distinction’. Arley Hall, the Gardens and the Estate have all been used as a location for a wide variety of filming from the BBC hit Peaky Blinders to Coronation Street.
Wednesday Our day begins with a drive into the historic city of Chester.
