Overview

It gives us great pleasure to return to Sidmouth, a frequent winner of the title ĎBritainís Floral Towní. This picturesque resort is situated on the glorious south Devon coast, set between deep red cliffs on the edge of Devonís heathery uplands. Home to beautiful beaches, the town boasts a pleasant, wellkept atmosphere, with stylish eating places and great shopping.

Royal York & Faulkner Hotel - 3 Star

The 3 star family run Royal York & Faulkner is a firm favourite with our clients. It is ideally situated on the centre of the esplanade overlooking the sea and adjacent to the shopping centre. The well-appointed bedrooms are all en-suite and include a hairdryer, TV, free WiFi, tea/coffee making facilities and all are served by a lift.



Your Itinerary:



Day 1

Day 1 Our door to door service takes you from your home to the waiting Club Class coach for the journey to the South West. We spend time in the famous maritime city of Bristol then on to Sidmouth arriving at our holiday hotel late afternoon.


Day 2

Day 2 A lovely coastal drive today; first to the picturesque fishing village of Beer, then on to Seaton with its famous tram way to Colyton. We take a return journey on the delightful narrow gauge tram through the beautiful Axe Valley before continuing our route along the Jurassic Coast back to Sidmouth.


Day 3

Day 3 A delightful drive through the Otter Valley to Budleigh Salterton, a charming resort overlooked by high cliffs known as the Floors, then on to Exmouth. Devonís oldest seaside resort and one of great naval and historic importance, where we include a cruise on the River Exe.


Day 4

Day 4 We visit popular Tiverton then drive through the Exe Valley to spend time in Devonís capital, Exeter. Dominated by its majestic cathedral the city offers a rich heritage with an old port, modern shopping area and historic Guildhall, the perfect place to spend some time.


Day 5

Day 5 After breakfast we bid farewell to our hotel. Our homeward journey includes glorious Somerset scenery, retracing our outward journey before returning to our home area late afternoon.
