The setting for the ivy clad 4 star Abbey Hotel in Great Malvern is ideal, at the foot of the Malvern Hills, adjoining the fine Benedictine Priory in the heart of the town. This hotel scores highly with our guests who are assured of a warm welcome and a relaxing atmosphere together with the highest levels of comfort. All the comfortable bedrooms are furnished to a high standard, all are en-suite and have tea and coffee making facilities. This hotel does have a lift.



Your Itinerary:



Day 1

Monday From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach, travelling through the heart of England via pretty Banbury and the scenic Vale of Evesham. We arrive late afternoon at the Abbey Hotel, Great Malvern and are welcomed with tea, coffee and biscuits, with time to settle in before dinner.


Day 2

Tuesday Our day begins with a drive to the Hop Pocket Craft Centre and shopping village for our morning break, before we visit Weston Cider Mill. Here we enjoy a guided tour, tasting and a light lunch. This afternoon we have free time in Hereford, why not take a stroll along the banks of the River Wye, enjoy the vibrant high town or immerse yourself in the local history and historic architecture. We return to the hotel for dinner.


Day 3

Wednesday Today we begin with a ride around some of the villages in Herefordshire’s beautiful ‘Black and White’ villages trail, with guided commentary. Our route takes in delightful cottages and inns, as we travel through Dilwyn, Weobley, Eardisley, Pembridge and Eardisland. We have free time in Leominster before returning to Malvern.


Day 4

Thursday This morning we head to Worcester where we have time to explore the city, with its imposing Cathedral well worth a visit. There are lots of opportunities to obtain lunch before we enjoy a boat trip on the River Severn to round off a lovely day, before we return to Malvern for our final night.


Day 5

Friday Homeward bound this morning travelling by way of Tewkesbury and Stratford-upon-Avon, where we make a stop for refreshments. Late afternoon we return to our home area and awaiting taxis.
