There is much more to the Costa Brava than high rise buildings and discotheques. As its name suggests the ‘wild coast’ is still an area of rugged coastline, forests of cork and pine and a Catalan heritage which is still very much in evidence. Our resort Tossa de Mar, has not suffered the widespread commercialisation of neighbours. It has retained much of its original character as a fishing village with narrow streets, white washed houses and an ancient fortress towering over the town.
The excellent 4 star Golden Bahia is located just 800 metres from the beach in Tossa de Mar. The hotel features 3 outdoor pools surrounded by palm trees and a sun terrace. The spacious en-suite bedrooms are air conditioned and have tea and coffee making facilities and a private balcony. Entertainment is featured each evening and lifts serve all floors.
