Your Itinerary:

Day 1

Friday Our door to door service takes you to the waiting Club Class coach for the leisurely drive north to spend time in the historic city of York; stroll along the famous ‘Shambles’, one of the most atmospheric streets in the city, to the imposing Minster, visit the Jorvik Viking Centre or the National Rail Museum, the choice is yours. We re-join the coach and arrive at our hotel the Crowne Plaza in Harrogate, with time to settle before dinner.

Day 2

Saturday This morning we take a scenic drive to delightful Ripon a busy market town with a small but impressive Cathedral after time to explore we return to Harrogate to enjoy an afternoon at leisure. With its huge open spaces and broad tree-lined boulevards, antique shops, shopping centres, flowers and plants, it is little wonder that the town is often a frequent winner of the Britain in Bloom award. Harrogate also boasts the world famous Betty’s Tearoom which was founded in 1919. We return to the hotel to enjoy Afternoon Tea before meeting again for dinner this evening.

Day 3

Sunday After breakfast we bid farewell to our hosts and make our way home by way of the wonderful Yorkshire Dales. Our route takes us to Quaint Ripley, over rugged Greenhow Moor and on to famed Ilkley nestling at the foot of its noted Moor. After time for lunch we complete our drive arriving in our home are late afternoon where we are greeted by our awaiting taxis.
