Overview

Itís the most wonderful time of the year as we return to the sparkling Kew Gardens! A dazzling arch leads you to a cascade of glowing silvery shards at the Treetop Walkway. Walk amongst immersive vines as they surprise with changing ribbons of light and wander beneath the branches where mysterious fairy-fire known as Will-oíthe-Wisp softly glows. We also include a visit to London, where we take a ride on the London Eye. We take in delightful festive sights as well as visiting the capitals many famous landmarks.

Set in a beautiful country house in 25 acres of woodland, Hilton St Anneís Manor Hotel, Bracknell is a stunning hotel only 30 minutes from Heathrow Airport. Your Itinerary:



Day 1

Friday Our door to door service takes you to the waiting coach for the drive to historic Windsor, where we make a stop. Later, we check in to the hotel for an early dinner before travelling to Kew Gardens for a unique night-time experience. Guided by snowflakes, the new 1 mile trail winds its way through the world famous botanic gardens, in a magical after-dark experience as Kew is lit up using over 1 million lights. Wander between glowing waterside reflections, illuminated fountains and grand glasshouses as Kewís iconic architecture and unique tree canopies are brought to life drenched in Christmas colour. Along the way, gaze at giant light sculptures, bright and luminous, like fireworks frozen in time. Stand amongst twinkling holly bushes and Christmas trees festooned with seasonal cheer as plumes of fire dance to festive music.


Day 2

Saturday After a leisurely breakfast, we travel to Southbank for our ride on the renowned London Eye. Afterwards, stroll through the wooden chalet-style stalls that line the pedestrian promenade beside the Thames. The traditional chalets sell all kinds of gifts, such as hand-crafted trinkets, wooden toys, jewellery, candles, ceramics, clothes and glass ornamental tree decorations. Of course, itís also all about the food and drink but make sure you leave room for dinner back at the hotel this evening.


Day 3

Sunday After breakfast we depart the hotel as we make our way home. Our drive is through the towns and villages of the Chiltern Hills. We arrive late afternoon to be greeted by our awaiting taxis after a unique memorable break.
