The Harrogate Spring Flower Show is the first major show of the season. Flower Halls are home to over 100 of the country’s leading horticultural nurseries. The Plant Societies offer exhibits and demonstrations along with advice whilst the flower arranging exhibits provide a colourful backdrop.
The Cedar Court Hotel is a grade 2 listed building boasting a peaceful location with its landscaped grounds, close to the town centre. The hotel is a historic sight dating back to 1671 and was Harrogate’s first hotel. Facilities include a lounge, bar, restaurant and of course its beautiful grounds. All of the 100 bedrooms are en-suite with a TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. A lift serves all floors.

Saturday After breakfast we head to Harrogate and the Great Yorkshire Showground, where we have the whole day to explore the captivating Spring Flower Show. The North of England Horticultural Society supported its first show in 1920 and the rest, as they say, is history. We see hundreds of exhibits, craft stalls as well as much more before heading back to our hotel for dinner.
Sunday Following a leisurely breakfast we head into Harrogate where we have time to explore. Perhaps wonder around the shops or visit the famous Betty’s Tea Room before we continue our journey home, arriving mid afternoon.
