Your Itinerary:

Day 1

Day 1 From you front door we join the Club Class coach for the drive to Southampton for the crossing to the Isle of Wight. This afternoon we continue to our 3 star hotel where we have time to settle in before dinner this evening.

Day 2

Day 2 This morning we travel to Cowes, best known as the world’s premier yachting centre and the island’s main port with a natural harbour. From here we travel the short distance to Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s Palace by the sea. Look out for the extravagant interiors and jaw-dropping Indian Décor in the Durbar Room. There are acres of grounds and gardens to relax in as well as the delightful café and restaurant to grab a snack. After a good stay we make our way back to the coach and travel to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3

Day 3 Today we head to Godshill, one of the most photographed and prettiest villages on the Island. There are plenty of cafes, pubs, tearooms and sights to see before we return to Shanklin for a free afternoon.

Day 4

Day 4 Following breakfast we head to Arreton Barns Craft Village which showcases local skilled artisans at work in their studios. Browse the shops and take in numerous displays of times gone by and visit the old fashioned sweet shop. From here we drive to Ryde for a nostalgic ride on the Isle of Wight Steam Train. Take a ride behind a vintage steam locomotive and breathe in the evocative aromas of a real steam railway, while your eyes and ears thrill to the puffing and hissing of the steam engine. Settle back in beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian carriages and enjoy a unique view of some of the island.

Day 5

Day 5 After breakfast we catch the ferry and return to England, using the motorways to arrive in our home areas to be greeted by our awaiting taxis.
