This tour takes us throughout South Wales to enjoy culture, sights, a cruise and a visit to a stately home. During this great value break we also visit Swansea and no tour is complete without a visit to the capital, Cardiff.

Located just 5 miles from Cardiff’s city centre, this 4 star hotel makes an ideal base for this holiday. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room. All of the bedrooms are en-suite and have a TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.

Your Itinerary:

Day 1

Monday From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach for the drive west to Wales. We arrive at out hotel late afternoon to be greeted by our hosts. Tea/coffee will be served whilst our luggage is taken to our rooms. Followed by time to settle in before dinner.

Day 2

Tuesday We spend the morning in the city of Swansea with its long bay which offers fantastic views over the coast. The city is home to a host of museum, independent stores and interesting attractions. This afternoon we make our way to the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Set in the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside, the garden is fascinating with its blend of the modern and historic with a variety of things to see.

Day 3

Wednesday Today we spend time in Cardiff, Wales’ cosmopolitan capital city, where we enjoy a short familiarisation tour. With lots to see including the castle, the superb Millennium Stadium and variety of cafes and pubs, it makes a great destination for the day. Perhaps visit the market, an impressive Victorian structure with a unique shopping experience in the heart of the city.

Day 4

Thursday We visit Tredegar House, one of the most architectural wonders of Wales and one of the most significant late 17th century houses in the whole of the British Isles. Situated within 90 acres of beautiful gardens and parkland, this delightful red brick house provides an ideal setting for a day out. This afternoon we go to Cardiff Bay to enjoy a relaxing 45 minute sightseeing cruise where we see many interesting sights.

Day 5

Friday We bid farewell to Wales and our hosts and return to our home areas.
