Your Itinerary:



Day 1

Sunday From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach, travelling north by motorway before entering Scotland at Gretna Green. Continuing on, we arrive at our hotel near Glasgow late afternoon with time to settle in before dinner.


Day 2

Monday Today we travel to Falkirk where we visit Callendar House & Park, a fantastic mansion with a restored 1825 kitchen, used for demonstrations, and a wide variety of permanent displays. Afterwards we head to the Helix Park, home of the Kelpies, the largest equine sculptures in the world, standing at 100ft tall and weighing more than 300 tonnes each. After a good stay we make our way to the city of Stirling where we have the afternoon at leisure to perhaps admire the castle or wander around the shops.


Day 3

Tuesday This morning we head to Glasgow Botanic Gardens, located in the heart of the city’s West End and home to a variety of plant collections, woodland copses and riverside walks as well as the famous Kibble Palace which houses the national collection of fern trees. The rest of the day is yours to explore Glasgow. With striking architecture, contemporary art spaces and museums, many of which are free, as well a fantastic shopping destination offering lots to see and do.


Day 4

Wednesday This morning we head to Hopetoun House, Scotland’s finest stately home to discover a place of beauty, tranquillity and architectural magnificence dating from the 17th century where we enjoy a cream tea. Later we head to the city of Edinburgh where the rest of the day is yours. There is much to see from the delightful gardens in Princess Street, The Royal Mile and the Royal Yacht Britannia.


Day 5

Thursday Our final Scottish breakfast before bidding farewell to our hosts at the Westerwood. We travel south to Gretna then cross into England and by motorway to return to our home area late afternoon after a memorable Scottish break.
