We are pleased to offer this fun filled pre-Christmas break based in Babbacombe. As an alternative destination to the hustle and bustle of adjacent Torquay, Babbacombe boasts its own promenade and of course the famous Babbacombe Model Village. Our chosen resort offers wonderful views and is also home to the historic Babbacombe Cliff Railway, one of the only original working railways still in existence.
Our hotel enjoys a seafront location, overlooking the famous Babbacombe Downs with far reaching views across Lyme Bay. All of the bedrooms are en-suite with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift that serves all floors. Entertainment is provided most evenings. Seaview upgrades are available
Monday From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach for the cross country drive to the English Riviera. Arriving mid-afternoon we are greeted by our hosts in the festive spirit. We start our break with a welcoming tea or coffee and a mince pie, whilst our bags are taken to our rooms. We meet again for dinner this evening.

The market has been running for seven years on Exeter’s Cathedral Green and is recognised as one of the best in the UK. A combination of unique location with the stunning backdrop of Exeter Cathedral alongside high quality exhibitors, have established an ‘event’ which is now an integral part of the city centres festive celebrations and Christmas shopping experience. After plenty of time at leisure, we return to Babbacombe this afternoon for time to relax and explore our resort before our dinner this evening.

We include entrance to the interesting Dartmoor Prison Museum, to see ‘life inside’ one of the world’s most famous and notorious jails. The museum shows more than 200 years of the prison’s turbulent history ranging from the beginning, to the later convict era through to today. After plenty of time to look around we return to our hotel with time to relax before dinner.
