Your Itinerary:



Day 1

Thursday From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach then north by motorway to make a lunch stop in north Yorkshire. Continuing on we enter Scotland at Gretna Green then on through the Lowther Hills and around Glasgow to reach the Westerwood Hotel late afternoon with time to settle in before dinner.


Day 2

Friday Our excursion takes us to Rob Roy country, spending time in Callander with its many associations with the Scottish Robin Hood, then into the heart of the Trossachs a heavily forested region made world famous by the great author Sir Walter Scott in his novel ‘Lady of the Lake’ where we enjoy a scenic cruise on Loch Katrine. Our return to the hotel is in time for Hot Cross buns and tea/coffee


Day 3

Saturday A day of magnificent Highland scenery. we drive along the Western shore of Loch Lomond stopping in the pretty village of Luss then on to Tarbet and a glorious drive over ‘Rest & be Thankful’ to Loch Fyne and Inverary, home of the Dukes of Argyll whose castle we visit. We return to the hotel well in time for dinner. A memorable last night in Scotland


Day 4

Sunday An Easter egg for everybody then a morning visit to the newest landmark in the country, the iconic ‘Kelpies’ at Falkirk and the Falkirk Wheel, set in their own park. We return to the hotel for a 3 course Easter lunch followed by a relaxing afternoon. This evening a light buffet dinner will be available


Day 5

Monday A full Scottish breakfast sets us up for our return journey. We travel to Glasgow and through Strathclyde stopping at Gretna Green, before crossing the border. Now south to return to our home area and waiting taxis early evening.
