Overview

Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 40 monarchs. The castle is well known as beloved home of Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II and is now her final resting place, in the beautiful 15th century, St George’s Chapel. The castle is now the new home of our present monarch, His Majesty King Charles III.
