Your Itinerary:

Day 1

From your front door to the Club Class coach for the drive south to Devon. Arriving late afternoon we enjoy time to relax before dinner.

Day 2

Our first visit today is to Paignton, Torquay’s neighbour and one of the brightest jewels in the English Riviera’s crown. Explore the harbour and sheltered coves or enjoy a stroll along the promenade. This afternoon we head to the port of Brixham, with its quaint narrow streets heading up from the waterfront. This quintessential English harbour enjoys a colourful and vibrant feel all year round, making it an ideal place for us to explore. Why not take a wander down to the harbour, here you will find a replica of the Golden Hind, Sir Frances Drake’s ship. After time to watch the many boats heading across the bay to Torquay and beyond, we return to the hotel with time to relax before dinner and this evening’s entertainment.

Day 3

A morning visit to the peaceful haven, Buckfast Abbey, part of an active Benedictine Monastery. After time to explore we return to Torquay, known as the ‘Queen of the English Riviera’ and one of England’s best loved resorts, for time at leisure.

Day 4

After another fine breakfast we make our way to the lovely town of Totnes with its variety of shops and historic buildings. We have time here before making our way to Dartmouth with its River Dart which is busy with boats of all shapes and sizes. We have time for lunch and exploration before we return to the hotel this afternoon for our final evening’s dinner and entertainment.

Day 5

After breakfast we bid farewell to our hosts and make our way home. We arrive in our home areas late afternoon after a delightful holiday in Devon.
