Your Itinerary:

Day 1

Friday From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach then north by motorway to make a lunch stop in north Yorkshire. Continuing on we enter Scotland at Gretna Green then on through the Lowther Hills and around Glasgow to reach the Westerwood Hotel late afternoon with time to settle in before dinner.

Day 2

Saturday A full Scottish breakfast before our first excursion; we drive to Scotland’s capital city Edinburgh. En-route we pass the newest landmark in the country, the iconic ‘Kelpies’ at Falkirk. Taking place over multiple sites in the town centre, we enjoy delicious food & drink and traditional crafts at the Scottish Market in St Andrews Square, pick up unique gifts and goods at the European Market in the Mound Precinct or choose presents for the wee ones in the Santa land in Princes Street Gardens. After a full and interesting day we return to the hotel for evening dinner.

Day 3

Sunday A scenic drive through memorable Scottish countryside of Campsie Fell and the Kilsyth Hills to ‘Queen of the Lochs’ Loch Lomond. Our drive continues over ‘Rest & be Thankful to another great loch, the sea Loch Fyne and the clan home of the Campbells at Inverary. We spend time at the Mill shop close to Inverary Castle with time for lunch and to discover the pretty town. Our return to the hotel is late afternoon.

Day 4

Monday Our final Scottish breakfast before bidding farewell to our hosts at the Westerwood. We travel south to Gretna then cross into England and by motorway to return to our home area late afternoon after a memorable Scottish break.
