A long established, favourite destination with our clients, Bournemouth is renowned as one of our more stylish resorts, it boasts spectacular coastal views including the secret Chines which were used by smugglers to conceal their beauty in days gone by; it is clean, fresh and sophisticated, yet remains quite unspoilt in spite of its popularity. There are seven miles of golden beaches, parks, gardens and woodlands to explore as well as entertainment in the form of shows, plays and concerts. It is the perfect place to holiday!

We have time to explore harbour side, Poole Pottery and the nearby shops before we return to the hotel with time to relax before dinner this evening.

Thursday After another fine breakfast set off for a pleasant morning drive into the New Forest, an enchanting expanse of ancient trees, heathland and woodland wildlife. We visit Lyndhurst and enjoy brandy coffees on board the coach then on to Beaulieu. With a stately home, a world famous motor museum and a 13th century abbey surrounded by picturesque gardens, there are over 800 years of heritage to enjoy. Our return includes views of the Isle of Wight as we take the coastal road back to Bournemouth.

Day 5

Friday We depart our hotel after breakfast for the homeward journey. We drive To Salisbury to spend some time in the historic city that is dominated by the spire of its magnificent cathedral then on to view Stonehenge before joining the route of our outward journey at Oxford, arriving in our home area late-afternoon.
