This is a fabulous brand new tour for 2018. We take in spectacular scenery throughout this tour, as well as visiting some iconic sights, including Hampton Court Palace. Combined with the lovely Cotswolds villages and Bourton-onthe- Water, this will be a memorable few days.

Best Western Moat House Hotel Reading is a wonderful place to stay in Reading that successfully combines the individual elegance of a modern hotel with the charm of a once thriving 19th Century Mill House. Over-looking the River Lodden, the hotel has 1.5 acres of open land. After your days out, enjoy a drink in the hotelís own pub, the Poacher. All bedrooms are en-suite and have a television, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. This hotel does have a lift.



Your Itinerary:



Day 1

Thursday From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach, heading south for the morning drive to Berkshire. Arriving in Sindlesham, we make our way to our hotel, the four star Best Western Reading Moat House Hotel. With free Wi- Fi and the grade 2 listed Poachers pub, this hotel has many of lovely aspects that will make our time in the hotel relaxing and enjoyable. We have time settle in before dinner this evening.


Day 2

Friday After breakfast, we make our way along the Thames Valley to the town of Henley-on- Thames, famous for its rowing regatta. We take a break here before continuing on our way through Marlow, with its famous suspension bridge. We have time for lunch here and time to explore the town and riverside, dominated by the magnificent castle before we return to the hotel this evening for dinner.


Day 3

Saturday After this morningís breakfast, we head for the historic traditional market town of Kingston upon Thames, which covers almost a three mile stretch over the Thames and is internationally renowned for its shops, markets, riverside pubs and cafes. We spend the morning here with time for lunch before we re-join the coach for the drive to Hampton Court Palace. We have time here to explore the beautiful historic Palace set in 60 acres of magnificent gardens. We later return to the hotel for dinner.


Day 4

Sunday After breakfast we head to the Cotswolds. We drive to Burford for a short break before continuing on our way to Stow-on-the-Wold, a delightful town in the heart of this region. We then have time to explore this interesting town and grab some lunch before re-joining the coach and arriving at pretty Bourton-on-the-Water, with the River Windrush flowing gently through the village. Later we return to our hotel.


Day 5

Monday We bid farewell to our hosts at the Best Western Reading Moat House Hotel as we make our way back to our home areas.
