Your Itinerary:

Day 1

Sunday From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach for the drive north arriving at the overnight hotel close to the Scottish border.

Day 2

Monday After breakfast we continue our journey to Oban, travelling through the glorious countryside to arrive at the Royal Hotel this afternoon.

Day 3

Tuesday Today is a day at leisure in Oban. Why not visit McCaigs Folly that dominates the port and discover the busy centre and harbour.

Day 4

Wednesday Today we travel by ferry to the magical Isle of Mull. We travel across the island, past Duart Castle to the most westerly point, Fionnphort. Here we board the short ferry on foot to the tiny enchanting Isle of Iona. Home to the imposing Iona Abbey, this historic and beautiful island is a renowned place of Pilgrimage, steeped in history as the birthplace of Christianity in Scotland. Later we make our way back to the hotel.

Day 5

Thursday A scenic drive along the shoreline of the loch takes us to Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis. North of the town is the Nevis Mountain Range and the cable car ride up Aonach Mor. At the top there are tremendous views of Glencoe, Ben Nevis and on a clear day the Isle of Skye.

Day 6

Friday This morning we bid farewell to Oban and begin the journey south. We take the wonderful road to Lochgilphead with views of sea, beautiful lochs and magnificent mountains at every turn. Our road continues along the shore of the mighty Loch Fyne to spend time in Inverary, home of the Clan Campbell. This afternoon we pass Loch Lomond to Glasgow then through broad Stranthclyde to the borders and our overnight hotel arriving well in time for dinner.

Day 7

Saturday Homeward bound for our return to our home areas and awaiting taxis.
