Overview

Another brand new tour for 2018, taking in the fabulous Irish culture. From our base in the bustling town of Bray we are perfectly placed to explore some of Irelands greatest scenery and finest treasures. We include visits to the fascinating Irish Stud, the fabulous Powerscourt Estate and a guided tour of the Fair City of Dublin.

Our hotel enjoys a perfect location close to the Bray seafront and town centre, a short drive from the coastal town of Greystones and the world famous Powerscourt Estate. All rooms feature TV, telephone, safe, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.



Your Itinerary:



Day 1

Monday From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach for the drive to Holyhead where we catch the ferry. Upon arrival in Ireland we drive to the hotel where we will enjoy our first evening’s dinner.


Day 2

Tuesday This morning we enjoy a guided tour of the Irish National Stud and hear the stories of the horses and their owners. Take a stroll through the peaceful Japanese Garden before the oppertunity to get lunch in a local cafe. This afternoon we travel to Powerscourt Estate where we have a leisurely afternoon exploring the 47 acres of gardens. We can meander through the charismatic shops in Powerscourt House and indulge in the café. After a full day out, we return to the hotel for dinner.


Day 3

Wednesday This morning after a leisurely breakfast we depart for Dublin and enjoy a guided tour of the National Botanic Gardens, located just 3 km from Dublin city centre. The gardens are an oasis of calm and beauty. A premier scientific institution, the gardens also contain the National Herbarium and several historic wrought iron glasshouses. After our tour we will have free time to explore Dublin centre before returning to the hotel for dinner.


Day 4

Thursday After breakfast we set off for a scenic tour of the Wicklow Mountains National Park, also known as the Garden of Ireland. Explore the ruins and lakes of Glendalough, meaning valley of two lakes, a 6th-century monastic settlement and one of Ireland’s most visited spots. After a day’s exploring, we return to the hotel for our final night’s dinner.


Day 5

FridayWe depart the hotel and head for Dublin to catch our return ferry to Holyhead. Arriving in Wales we coach on using the motorways to arrive in our home areas this evening after a wonderful Irish break.
