André Rieu’s concerts are really memorable with spectacular sets, colour and fabulous
music from this Dutch master violinist and conductor and his world famous Johann
Strauss orchestra. We are proud to offer another chance to see this magical showman
as he plays at the impressive Cologne Arena in Germany.

Thursday Our door to door service takes us to the waiting Club Class coach for the drive to Folkestone during which a light breakfast is served. Boarding the train a glass of champagne and snacks set the holiday mood. On through Belgium, past Bruges and Brussels to reach our hotel in the Cologne area. We arrive late afternoon well in time for dinner.
FridayWe enjoy a hearty breakfast before taking a short tour along the banks of the mighty River Rhine. An early dinner awaits you at the hotel before the highlight of our tour, when André Rieu and his orchestra will take to the stage. A swinging evening with the king of waltz that will remain in your memory for a long time.
SaturdayWe will take you on a guided tour of Germany’s capital of Carnival, Cologne, which has a long and illustrious history stretching back to Roman times. The cathedral is Germany’s most popular attraction and it is easy to see why, hugely imposing, with twin steeples over 500ft tall, the gothic masterpiece can be seen from miles around, and it is no wonder that it was placed on the world heritage list. Your guide will explain all about the construction, which took over 600 years to complete, as well as all the features and history, which make this such a special place. To sweeten your day you will explore the huge chocolate museum on a guided tour followed by a tasting at the chocolate fountain, returning to our hotel in time for dinner.
SundayWe depart Cologne soon after breakfast and retrace our route through Belgium to Calais before boarding the mid afternoon train to Folkestone. We arrive home early evening.
