Your Itinerary:

Day 1

Sunday From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach for the drive north arriving at our overnight hotel close to the Scottish border.

Day 2

Monday After breakfast we continue our journey to Oban, travelling through Southern Scotland, past Glasgow, alongside the shores of Loch Lomond and over Pass of Brander to arrive at the Royal Hotel late afternoon.

Day 3

Tuesday After a full breakfast we enjoy the day at leisure to relax in Oban. Oban is the unofficial ‘capital’ of the West Highlands and the ferries to and from the isles make it a very busy port. Why not explore the towns harbour and shops before returning to the hotel where a light lunch will be served.

Day 4

Wednesday This morning we collect our packed lunches and make our way to catch the ferry for the crossing to the magical Isle of Mull. We tour the island and a hidden gem is found in the delightful town of Tobermory with its eye-catching colourful houses. We return to Craignure for the ferry back to Oban where we have time to relax in the hotel before dinner this evening.

Day 5

Thursday A morning drive to nearby Seil Island. To reach the island we cross the ‘Bridge over the Atlantic’ yes it really does cross an arm of the mighty ocean. We view the famous ‘House of Trews’ then continue to the popular artists village of Easdale. We return to Oban and the hotel for a light lunch and free time

Day 6

Friday This morning we bid farewell to Oban and begin the journey south. We take the wonderful winding road to Lochgilphead with views of sea, beautiful lochs and magnificent mountains at every turn. Our road continues along the shore of mighty Loch Fyne to spend time in Inverary, home of the Clan Campbell. This afternoon we pass Loch Lomond to Glasgow then through broad Strathclyde to the borders and our overnight hotel arriving well in time for dinner.

Day 7

Saturday Homeward bound for our return to our home areas and awaiting taxis.
