Due to the continued, phenomenal success of our tours based at the Savoy Palace Hotel, it gives us pleasure to return for 2019. This super tour allows us the chance to experience the many unforgettable and historic sights of this beautiful region, from the glistening waters of Italy’s largest lake to the romance of Venice. Nestling at the edge of the magnificent Dolomite Mountains, Lake Garda enjoys a lively, warm Mediterranean climate and the base for our holiday is the lovely resort of Riva de Garda, stretched along the crescent-shaped shore, extending to the Sarca plain and to the foothills of Mount Brione, which separates it from Torbole. The historic town of Riva is a Mediterranean oasis where olive trees and palms thrive.
The 4 star Hotel Savoy Palace is located in a quiet position with a breathtaking mountain backdrop, just metres from the historic centre of Riva del Garda and 150 metres from the lake itself. Each of the spacious, light infused bedrooms is en-suite with a balcony, satellite TV, radio, telephone, safe, hairdryer and air-conditioning. The hotel has a sauna, Jacuzzi, a heated indoor pool and an outdoor pool. The hotel holds a live piano bar two nights a week and is served by two lifts.

Wednesday Today, a full day to Venice allowing us time to enjoy the fascinating attractions of perhaps the most romantic city in the world. Making our way first to the centre by waterbus then we have free time to discover the sights such as the Basilica of St Marks, Doges Palace and of course the Bridge of Sighs. Later we return to the hotel.
Thursday This morning we drive to the majestic Dolomite Mountains. Our first visit is to Bassano del Grappa, famous for its principle landmark, the Ponte degli Alpini, known as the ‘Old bridge’. The town centre is composed of attractive streets and three attractive linked piazzas ornamented with cafes, shops, churches and chatting locals. Why not try some of Bassano’s famous Grappa, a fiery liqueur for which the town is named after. One of the town’s distilleries, Poli, has a little museum where you can learn how the liqueur is made as well as taste it too. Later we spend time beside the pristine waters of Lake Levico and pretty Levico Terme set in a wonderful tranquil location surrounded by the Dolomite Mountains
Friday A morning visit to Malcesine with its picturesque harbour and narrow cobbled streets. The rest of the day is spent at leisure in our resort.
