Day 2

Tuesday This morning we head to Bridgnorth and its Cliff Railway which takes us from the top of the town to the bottom to enjoy its rivers and alleyways. From here we drive to Kidderminster where we have free time to obtain lunch, look around the shops and experience its culture. We return to the hotel with time before dinner.

This afternoon we visit Shugborough Estate, a rare survival of a complete estate with all major buildings including the mansion house, servants’ quarters, working farm and walled garden. After time to explore we return to the hotel for dinner.

After our visit we head into Birmingham itself, where we have time at leisure . The city is home to museums and galleries, theatres and excellent shopping as well as the traditional canals which are perfect for a wander alongside. After a good stay we return to the hotel for our final evening’s dinner.
