After much success in previous years, we return to Llandrindod Wells, mid Wales’ most popular inland resort. It has successfully recreated the unique atmosphere of its Victorian heyday by restoring the Spa, Rock Park Pavillion and Pump Room. It’s wide open streets run between elegant Victorian and Edwardian style houses complete with iron railings, foot scrapes and bell-pulls. Beautiful gardens as well as superb walks by lakes, woods and mountains, all make it the perfect place to spend our Christmas holiday.
Located in the centre of the historic spa town of Llandrindod Wells, the 4 star Metropole assures guests of a warm welcome in keeping with the traditions of its' Founder, whose Great, Great Grandson, Justin Baird-Murray, now runs the establishment. All of the bedrooms are en suite and have a TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities, all floors are served by lifts at the front and rear of the hotel. The hotel's Victorian grandeur is complemented by an indoor leisure complex which includes an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool. Other public facilities include the elegant Radnor Restaurant and the relaxing Spencer’s Bar & Pantry.
