Imperial Blackpool Hotel - 4 Star

A Fenn Holiday favourite only minutes from the beach and overlooking the North Pier. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub and steam room. The rooms are decorated in a traditional style each with a flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. A lift serves all floors.

Your Itinerary:

Day 1

Monday From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach for the drive to Blackpool. We arrive mid-afternoon to enjoy a tea/coffee and cake before time to relax and dinner.

Day 2

Tuesday This morning we take a short journey to Fleetwood Market where there will also be time to visit Freeport Fleetwood shopping village. This afternoon we join the hotel management for an interesting Heritage talk on the Imperial’s history and take a tour of the hotel. Later we are shown how the famous ‘Mayflower Spirit Cocktail’ is made and get to sample the end result.

Day 3

Wednesday A full English breakfast marks the start of another day before we depart on our excursion to visit to England’s premier beauty spot, the Lake District. We visit Bowness where we include a pleasant ride on lovely Lake Windermere on board one of the covered cruisers before heading to Wordsworth’s Grasmere to spend time. We return to the hotel with time to relax before dinner.

Day 4

Thursday Today you have the morning to explore Blackpool and perhaps take a trip on a tram or walk along the Prom. With the famous Tower Ballroom being the highlight, a visit is a must so we have included afternoon tea in the Tower Ballroom and a chance to follow in famous footsteps and take a waltz round the room.

Day 5

Friday This morning we enjoy our last breakfast before returning home. Making use of the motorways we cross the Pennines to arrive in our home area midafternoon to be greeted by our awaiting taxis.
