Your Itinerary:

Day 1

Saturday Our door to door service takes you to the waiting Club Class coach for the drive to Folkestone during which a light breakfast is served. Once in Calais we join the French AutoRoute to Dunkirk and travel through Northern France, we cross into Germany at Aachen and then leaving the autobahn in the rugged Hunsruck to arrive at the our chosen resort of Boppard and the Bellevue Hotel late afternoon. A welcoming glass of wine precedes dinner this evening.

Day 2

Sunday A lovely excursion today as we follow the course of the mighty Rhine, with fairytale castles, steeped in history, high above us. We spend time in the historic riverside resort of Bacharach, a town of half timbered buildings and flower bedecked squares looked over by the ruins of the castle. We return to the hotel this afternoon where we enjoy a cooking demonstration followed by time to relax and dinner.

Day 3

Monday Today we travel to the quieter Moselle valley. We drive through the wooded hills of the Hunsruck Hills to the most picturesque of resorts, Cochem, nestling prettily beneath its late Gothic Imperial Castle.

Day 4

Tuesday Another interesting day as we cross the Rhine to climb to the top of the legendary Loreley Rock for superb views of the Rhine. We continue along the east bank of the river to historic Koblenz sited on the confluence of the Mosel and Rhine. We return to the hotel late afternoon.

Day 5

WednesdayWe say farewell to the Rhineland to journey home. Travelling via the Eifel and Ardennes and with a lunch stop in Belgium we continue homeward before our late afternoon train to Folkestone. We arrive in our home area mid evening.
