Join us as we visit South West Wales. Rich in culture and coastline, where ancient legends inspire contemporary creativity and colourful seaside villages lead to some of the UK's best beaches. We are based in the up and coming resort of Llanelli with an interesting and scenic itinerary, Highlights include visits to the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, a River Tawne Cruise and a ride on the Brecon Mountain Railway.

The family run, 4 star Diplomat is operated with charm, warmth and generous hospitality by the courteous, efficient and professional staff who are on hand to help make your visit as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. This iconic Llanelli hotel was built in 1810, and today its bedrooms feature stylish decor and modern features. Each ensuite bedroom includes a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities. Hotel facilities include a sauna, steam room, hot tub, gym and indoor pool. The hotel is served by a lift.



Your Itinerary:



Day 1

Joining the Club Class coach, we depart our home area and travel to Wales, making suitable stops along the way, to arrive in Llanelli and at the Diplomat Hotel late afternoon with time to settle in before dinner.


Day 2

Today we head southwest to the city of Swansea with free time to explore this buzzing city. After a good stay we continue on to the marina where we join a boat and enjoy a relaxing cruise along the River Tawne. This afternoon we travel on to the award winning National Botanic Garden of Wales for our included visit.


Day 3

Today takes us north-east to the small village of Pant where we join the Brecon Mountain Railway, one of the Great Little Trains of Wales. We enjoy a scenic ride through the Brecon Beacons National Park to reach Brecon where we have time for lunch. This afternoon we travel to the Penderyn Distillery for a guided tour and tasting.


Day 4

Our excursion this morning sees us heading west to the popular small seaside resort of Saundersfoot where we enjoy free time to explore the pretty little harbour before travelling on to Tenby. With its old town walls, interesting side streets and superb beaches, it is always a pleasant and friendly place to visit.


Day 5

A final Welsh breakfast before we depart for home. We make suitable stops on the journey to arrive back in our home area mid afternoon.
