We are pleased to offer a tour that takes in the best of Scottish scenery and culture, a world famous luxury hotel and the chance to get up close to the amazing scenery and wildlife on an award winning Mountain Safari. Our chosen holiday location is the historic market town of Crieff in glorious Perthshire, noted as the geographical heart of Scotland, it has everything for the visitor. Straddling the Highlands and the Lowlands, it offers a rich variety of scenery, from fertile farmland to heather clad moors, soaring mountains and the graceful River Tay - Scotland's grandest river. Of course how could we visit Scotland without including a ‘Wee Dram ‘?

Crieff Hydro Hotel - 4 Star

The luxurious 4 star hotel is located in the heart of Perthshire and is set amongst 900 acres of Scottish countryside. All of the high quality bedrooms contain a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Hotel facilities include an 18-hole golf course, cinema, indoor swimming pool, spa bath, sauna and steam room. The hotel has a lift to all floors.



Your Itinerary:



Day 1

Day 1 Our door to door service takes you to the luxury club class coach for the journey north via Scotch Corner, Gretna Green and Stirling to reach Perthshire late afternoon. Tea and coffee will be served on our arrival whilst the luggage is taken to our rooms.


Day 2

Day 2 A day of scenic delights as we travel beside beautiful Loch Earn to ‘Rob Roy Country’ spending time in the bustling town of Callander on the River Teieth. Later we enjoy a drive through the glorious Trossachs, the beauty of which has inspired writers and poets including Sir Walter Scott. Our return is by way of Scotland’s only lake, Menteith and the small cathedral town of Dunblane


Day 3

Day 3 An exciting day today as we drive to Aberfeldy for our unique journey of discovery. We are met by our kilted guide, where we transfer to a 4X4 vehicles to enjoy the fantastic scenery and wildlife of Scotland close up. Binoculars are provided and we hope to see majestic Red Deer, the famous Grouse, elusive Mountain Hare and with luck soaring Golden Eagles as we travel through forests, mountains and moors on private tracks. Included in our safari are tea, coffee, Kenmore shortbread and a wee dram of Dewar’s whisky in one of the ‘mountain bothies’, surrounded on all sides by inspiring mountain views. This Safari will inspire you with an insight into magnificent natural wilderness and leave you with memories to last a lifetime. Later there will be free time in Aberfeldy before our return to the hotel.


Day 4

Day 4 Another impressive drive this morning through the ‘Sma Glen’ to visit Blair Atholl Distillery, established in 1798 and one of Scotland’s oldest. We sample the world famous malt whisky before driving through the delightful Tay valley to spend time in the ‘Fair City’ of Perth, an historic bustling market town on the banks of the River Tay. We return to the hotel for time to relax or make use of the excellent facilities in our luxury hotel


Day 5

Day 5 Leaving Crieff we head south via Perth and cross the mighty River Forth via the Forth Bridge to visit historic Jedburgh in the glorious borders. Over Carter Bar into England and by motorway to return to our home area and waiting taxis early evening
